PUBLIC HEALTH UPDATES
Flu season is approaching. Check out this link from Halton Region Public Health to stay up-to-date. We will send out an announcement when our office has the flu vaccine.

School Based Vaccinations
- Halton Region Public Health in-school immunization clinics will resume on October 17, 2022 to offer Meningococcal ACYW-135 (Nimenrix®), Hepatitis B (Engerix®) and HPV-9 (Gardasil®9) vaccines to grade 7 and 8 students.
Parents/guardians can visit halton.ca/immunize to learn about upcoming in-school immunization clinics. They will receive communication from their school with more information.
Parents/guardians must report their child’s immunization record to Halton Region Public Health when they receive any vaccine(s), unless the vaccine is administered at a Halton Region Public Health clinic.
* Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, eligibility for school-based vaccines has been extended for students in grade 9 to 12 to August 31, 2023. Parents/guardians may contact physicians to schedule immunizations for eligible students, who do not currently have access to in-school clinics.
